VF-1 Valkyrie

This Mecha from the Super Dimension Fortress Macross series normally transformed into the three combat modes recognized in BattleTech by Land Air 'Mechs. Within the BattleTech game this one vehicle was split into distinct non-transformable 'Mechs models and LAM models. The LAMs, true to their artistic origin, could transform into aerospace fighter, hybrid (GERWALK), and 'Mech mode.

Not to mention the two pylons in the back look like the gaping mouths of two alligators.

Yeah, hard to compete with a master.

Looking back on it, I think my version suffers from being too boxy and flat. Alex has got some nice angles in there that break that up while still referencing the original's airplane-nose-with-wings chest.

I don't care, just said I don't like this mech, that is all. Btw, your model is better in my opinion Sparks, good job.
