Take a Dragon with one PPC, or a K2 with 2. Play 10 matches. Then tell me the PPC needs damage or speed nerfs.

The issue, is, was and continues to be the ability to boat, and overheat without penalty. PPC and ER PPC is fine in and of itself. Don't nerf the weapon for finally being RIGHT because the meta is broken, k thx?

I'd rather it function like it did in MW2 where you spit a big slow moving ball of plasma and you either got the hell out of the way or ate some pretty wicked splash damage. This pinpoint crap for PPCs is the real problem.

yeah make every weapon in this game deal 3 damage over 3 seconds, so every dude with crooked hands and crippled brain can have his fun... but that will be without me :)

Like -right now- ... ********... Frozen City... Minute and forty-five seconds into the match, just cresting our side of the first cap point. Boom. Erppcs through the damn front shoulder, through the engine, enjoy watching the rest of the match. What. The. Hell. Hope the twit on the other end of that at least gets a chuckle.

Meh. It doesn't make sense for it to be slow or 'splash'. If we're talking particles then they'd need to be accelerated by a huge amount to do damage (thus high projectile speed), a lot of it kinetic, and if we're talking plasma then the extremely high temperatures is what does the main damage and it wouldn't 'splash', and it also wouldn't form a stable 'ball'. It would be like a Melta in the Warhammer universe - a extremely bright, short range beam that cuts through armour like it's plastic.

What we have now is a mixture of both. Not really a particle projector but not really a plasma blaster either.

I much prefer the current system over MW2's.
