So I download the installer from the site, when I run it, it brings up a little "mechwarrior online setup window" that says uninstall or close. So if i click close it obviously closes, but when i click uninstall i get a " one or more issuse caused the setup to fail, please fix the issue then please try again. for more information please see the log. 0x80070643- fatal error during installation. I have completely removed everything mechwarrior and pirhana games related off my system and it still does the same thing.

Please someone help me figure this out, here is what is in the log..

Follow this link and run Microsoft fixit. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/976982

If your running win7 ensure your running the installer as administrator by right clicking on the icon and selecting run as administrator. also do the same when you want to play the game.

Also use ccleaner to clean your registry

http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

you can also use it to remove mwo

update your drivers etc too

then reinstall mwo
