Crap Patches pure and simple.

Went from 30/40 FPS (3 patches ago) to 10/20 FPS or less. The more mechs and firing, less frames, as low as 5FPS.
Even in mechlab i get less 20/25 FPS (previously stable around 40), ridiculous.
Every thing on low, no blur and no V-Sync.
Razer Game Booster running. Graphic Card overclocked.
My laptopp is the same and all drivers updated.
3D mark benchmark shows that i incresed my score with the latest drivers.

ON MWO I GET LESS AND LESS AS EACH PATCH COMES OUT.

Can no longer monitor my framerate and not willing to install third party software to do so, but I am pretty consistently noting frame loss when just a few patches ago I was locked to 60 at all times, regardless.

Performance went down hill fast..... never seen so much stuttering in a game ......

Ping average is 60-80 ........can't see my FPS.......

Lets keep making new mechs instead of focusing on QOL improvements.... better to bury the code WAY in....so in 6 months it'll be impossible to find it.

Game runs okay with current settings so I didn't change them. My video card is set to 'adaptive half refresh rate' so I get about 30 FPS.

Connection speed is about 95-105, West Coast, northern.

What I needed to report is that I was testing LRM mechs, various, with Artemis, BAP, TAG and using the LoS/Artemis effect before the patch and was having some success, after the patch it seemed like the LRMs were going through their targets or the hits were not registering. It seems the LRMs are bugged in 50-70 percent of games. I may go back to testing them today, but it's usually a short test each game.

Terrible hit detection on light mechs with high pings. Actually terrible hit detection on anything with a high ping. Light mechs are the worst I can post videos of visual hits from ppcs but no hit marker. The armor glows gold yet no damage is done. To add to that I am from Illinois, have great internet connection usually sub 50 sometimes even sub 40 or 30.
How had the patch generally affected your performance?
  • Acceptible frame rates
Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
  • FPS decreases significantly when there is smoke directly in front of my cockpit
What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
  • High and have left them at high.
Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)
  • Don't know. F9 doesn't work. But FPS decreased slightly

My ping before the last few patches was 47~67ms.... but now it's at 115.

post hotfix did nothing for my ping. The best i had was 75 and i'm on FIOS 50meg pipe.. so it has me wondering if im being singled out

1. Unplayable. mouse lags 1 second behind. connection speed is average 300ping which was playable prior to the patch. Location; Australia

Did further testing and recruted help from a few teammates.
Our conclusion is that the FPS rate are droping at somewaht random, not just when there are a lot of mechs on screen at a lot of fire.
Some of what users are atributing to ruberbanding and HSR misses, are in fact massive fps drops, that make the game slugish, therefore causing the eefect of rubberbanding and HSR misses.
A player experiencing usualy 50fps sees drops into the 10/15 FPS, this is significant, however, during this there is no increase in CPU usage or GPU usage which leads to conclude it may be memory related.

Hope the devs actually read this.

Can't see my FPS any more, but it seems to be single digit. Powerpoint has a higher framerate at the moment, which is not exactly a good recommendation.

Reinstalling the client and seeing if it'll help.

Prior to this patch build, it was 40-50 ish, even though the PPCs were its own issue. Now, I can't even fight.

Reinstalling did no work. In that last game I had, shooting 7 medium lasers into a hunchback that was shut down (poor guy overheated) did zero damage. Shooting in front of the hunchback also did zero damage. I was taking damage normally from enemies, and my team was able to target people normally (including the hunchback I was shooting - they destroyed it in 3 shots). So the target was not lagshielded, my position relative to the server was correct (since they can hit me) but enemies' positions relative to what I see are wrong.

I ended up doing a pathetic total of 180 damage in that game. I'm normally able to take on 3 Heavy to Assault class mechs before I blow up, not being able to take on a single Medium is distressing to the extreme.

This patch is currently completely unplayable. Hoping for tomorrow's to fix it.
