there was never a problem with PPC's in my opinion, the 4 second nerf though was an okay move i think. but it really doesnt do much since the real limit with PPC's is the heat, this actually increases DPS because it forces players to wait alittle longer between shots so their heat is lower and they dont OH as fast.

Its been 3-4 months since ppcs were made broken, We're long past the time of being "nice". By the way, isn't your post negative and non-constructive... Very hypocritical.

Adding 4 seconds was a buff, not a nerf. It helps it cycle heat better by forcing a cooldown you would have done anyway.

Youre a derp...ive made plenty of posts with number and examples, when I can be bothered to do so.

PPCs FINALLY, after almost a year of uselessness because of the terrible stats that were assigned to them, arent broken and are fielded pretty much as they should be in 3050. You can field multiple PPCs, and do crap damage up close with a slow but reasonable firing speed, or you can field a few less ERPPCs, and fire once every 8 seconds...longer on Caustic or Tourmaline, and thats IF you have double sinks + heat containment + run cool. Dont try and tell me its not so derps, because ive run both those maps with those configurations 100s of time on my Stalkers with 300k xp sitting on them.

I still get regularly killed by counter snipers, fast brawlers and very occasionally, by an LRM barrage. I can STILL do just as, if not more, damage on my Ballistic based Cataphracts and Jagermechs, at least on most of the maps. Certain maps favor certain weapons. And the best mech to farm KDA is STILL the Stalker 5m with 5 LRM 10s +/Artemis/TAG/Advanced Target Decay/Advanced Sensor Range/BAP+ and x4 MLas...and enough DHSs to fire the Mlas cluster for free on most maps.

Now if this were 3025, id say yeah, PPCs are over fielded...but its not and at this time, in the IS, the PPC is the premier battlefield weapon.

I can only IMAGINE the whining you people are going to be doing when Clan Tech is released and we have LRMS that weigh less and have no minimum range, ERPPCs that deal 15, ER Pulse Lasers, Streak 6s, targeting computers that highlight hit boxes, and of course, even better DHS.
