After trying a series of very disappointing missile builds I have come to the conclusion that Large Lasers are the best weapons. My average XP and C-bill amounts are more than double my other builds. Plenty of heat capacity and speed allow you to tear up most medium and heavy mechs, especially dakka builds as rocking back and forth on the throttle throws their aim off quite noticeably.

I run this basically, except with JJs and 2 ML on a 5K. Le upgunned Ostroc 3C (Ostdraw?)

I like the idea. I might try that, though I'd put an LL in each arm for better flexibility in aiming.

I'm a big fan of Large Lasers though. A good balance of heat and direct immediate fire damage for the tonnage.

My other idea would be to drop the 3rd LL, stick in 2 SSRMs and 1 tons of ammo. You'd have some pretty good freedom of aiming and movement and slightly better heat profile. You can drop the FF and go down to 384 armor, then throw in an AMS as well, which isn't a bad idea. You might be able to spare a HS for another ton of ammo. I'm not a huge fan of FF and Endo, though you can cram it onto a few mechs.
