It's sort of hard to have an idea of who you are based on that, though. Why not introduce yourself?
I'll tell you some advice based on what I did when I first got into the closed beta.Grab your friends by the hair and shove their faces toward the monitor, screaming "Join! JOIN Mechwarrior Online or ---" Ask your real life and gaming friends to swing over and try it out with you.
And if at first you don't succeed, wait a month or two (since a whole new 'new user experience' is coming with proper training for players soon) then try again.
