No overheating.

Can engage on all ranges.

Total cheesy.

Sorry for that.

I like it, balanced, effective at all ranges, and not boating.

No need to use an XL on that build. You would have better results using endo and dropping a few heatsinks.

mine

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...4a80fd046894d3f

note: not a sniper... i call it an "assault setup", because gauss and ac2 are used in combination for a good surpression damage... fits my playstyle, although it might not be for everyone

i have a similar one, but slower with an ER-PPC instead of the 2 mlasers... also nice, but not really nescessary

Anything that requires skill.

Not your fault, busted weapon is busted.

Looks disturbingly like my Highlander, Pale Horse. I based Pale Horse off of the TRO HGN 732b.

Swapped Ferro for Endo, added a ton of Gauss ammo, and fiddled with the armor a bit.

I hope to see more people using balanced builds such as this. I think most will find the game is more fun and challenging when you bring a variety of weapons to the field and use them effectively.

<S> Thanks guys, see you dirtside.

Normally I'd agree, but on a Highlander with 300 engine, it really needs all the help it can get. Lights will out-circle its torso/arm twist pretty quickly. Not sure I'd want to use an XL though, never had good luck with them in Highlanders. I prefer the STD 325 in all my builds.

I did never die from a light from behind in all of my highlanders. I'm finished mastering them.

In fact, the only time I die from behind is a 6 ER PPC STK one hitting me.

That's a lot like my Highlander 732 but I don't run a XL engine and I don't use Streaks. I'm not sure why you call it a cheese build, it's a nicely balanced mech.

I got mine to work with a 300 ST for total cheezzz domination! But it's not that cheesey really. Nothing is boated. 3 different ranges. My Mechlab is the "House that Cheese Built", btw. Although I don't use a 6xPPC Stalker, my stuff all works without shutting down.

I'd put more armor in the rear and why on earth do you have all that armor in the legs? You just want enough so you can blow any leggers up first. Getting backshot by a couple of Lights happens very fast and that is where they know to shoot an Assault. Ah well, I guess yours is stronger from the front attacks.

You had my respect...until I saw that you had no jump jets. Highlanders without jump jets is just an Atlas that's 10 tons too light.

Here's a balanced HGN-732.

Ummm, you've got enough room to throw in Endo-Steel which would give you 4.5 tons. Add half a ton of armour (LT/RT/Arms) upgrade your engine to a Standard 300 and move a DHS there for extra room. You'd still have 6 crits and 3 tons still to play with. Also, you have no ammo for your 3 Streaks.

Personally, I keep the 733C for AC/20 or possibly dual uAC/5s, but that's just me.

Before the nerf, my 733c had 1erppc, 1gauss or ac20, 3 streaks, 315xl engine, and 4 JJs. Now 2 lg pulse lasers instead of erppc, 2 streaks, and 2 JJs (less shake). I'm happy that this build is working out so far. I miss the target less when jumping or hopping with the pulse lasers and 2 JJs.

greetings..My highlander is similar to this but with slight variations and maybe better as well.

its got the standard engine (no upgrades what soever)

the only difference is that instead of those streaks i got this.

Srm6
Srm4 with 2 tons of ammo.

double heatsinks. and that machine can seriously do damage..

oh and i had to take out JJs for it :) rest is same...i.e.

Gauss with 4 tons ammo
3 med lasers
Lrm 20

happy killing
