My bad, it is the other, the C++. vcredist_x86.exe (not just the 64bit version).

Also make sure that dx9c is installed. Dx10/11 are not backward compatible, thus modules for dx9c need to be installed.

Edited - If you are using an older installer, definitely use the above link. If you downloaded and used a newer installation, temporary change the system's date to May 6 or earlier to work around the issue, which allows the installer to install not only the game but the necessary programs as per the link above.

hi, im gettint the 0x800b0101 certicate out of period or something error

ive realised that i had a problem with another game, my OS is on C drive (nearly full) and i want to install to G

with another game i had the problem that there was not enough space on C FOR THE INSTALLER.
its installed to G now but i had to make some space for the installation on C

is that maybe the same problem here? (but i cant get more space -.-)

Help I'm trying to install all the software that you say, that being .NET 4.0, direct x and c++ but they all say theres already a more updated version installed on the system and wont let me install it, yet i keep having this error. What can i do?

But it doesn't start to begin with just as it is about to start the 0x800b0101 error appears, (anyway i tried setting the time to July 6, but it didn't work) all the threads about this say to install those three things but i already have more updated versions of them

Hehe, see i am from the click to Play Generation, downloading extra stuff or old Versions of things, i have, to run a game .... but well it is beter, i am sure it will run easier once ist life.

It's the installation of those 3 things -- DirectX, Visual C++, and .NET.

Make sure that you install the x86 version of Visual; I was beating my head against a wall wondering why it wasn't working. I had downloaded x64 when it was calling for x86. And that's what did it for me.

You may have installed the 64 bit variant, but their installer is requiring the x86 variant and it fails when it attempts to download it to a temp folder.
