Devs,

It is very disappointing to see that you just toss out contests and promos without giving advance notice of them. People play the game and most likely have a direct 'favorites' link to your forums... and they do not check your home page every 5 minutes to see if you put something up. We're kinda busy playing the game you know?

Today I log in and see there is a contest that had been running since the day before. I had no idea...because I spent most of that day with the game logged on and posting on the forums.

So how about you guys giving a 48 hour advanced warning which is shown at game start screen and/or at the very least include a 'system' message in-game that a contest has been launched?

I'm not sure what time zone you were in.. but yesterday for me, logging at night on EST, the tourney was actually broadcasted through their "ad" system. That's a lot more than PGI is used to doing by far (which was usually limited to ninja midnight updates on their main page).

Is it a Friday? Then expect a tournament (about every other week) and/or a sale (every week). It happens every friday, like clockwork. This isn't something new

And the contest started 30 minutes ago...so I have no clue what you mean by "yesterday"
