I get you guys are trying to optimize the game, and some of the devs are focused on "finding us frames." But for someone who is constantly hitting his head at his 60fps limit; I'm a bit disapointed when I see Post Processing or Texture Detail dramatically drop.

In a few instances I notice the dreary look of realism depending on the lighting; how ever, more often than not I'm catching myself disgusted by the lower texture quality and the extremely short diameter of detail immersion there is around me.

At max graphics, I shouldn't have to deal with this; and I it's distracting actually being able to vividly watch the trees and shrubbery come to life only a few meters away.

Sincerely,
Scarcer

the lighting engine in this game is really amazing. which is why instead of depending on low rez textures to detail a mech, they should just let the lighting/shadowing do its thing

In addition to all of the above, I want to mention the increasing FOG everywhere.

Even MechLab has become foggy!

Is this the solution to snipers?

Apparently with 24 players (12 per team), the test server trials showed very poor performance for some players, thus they are concentrating on degrading image quality to meet performance goals. We can only hope that once the low end is fast enough, they'll tweak high end settings to restore image quality.

I really hope they restore some of the good image quality the game had. I loved it. Right now i feel dissapointed at the lack of quality in some parts. It wrecks a bit of the experience.
