First Assault Mech: Atlas D-Dc Or Stalker 3F?

I want to dive into an assault. Narrowed it to AS7-D-DC or a STK-3F. Atlas for all three weapon types and ECM, and shear durability. Stalker 3F for loadout flexibility and slightly better twist vs other stalkers.
Vote? Thanks!

3F if you solo drop and just wanna load up on PPC's and one-shot/two-shot people in PuGs.

Atlas is the mech your teammates are most likely to gather around, and this is for me the reason I don't like piloting one in PUGs: I find it way more stressful.
In PUGs you can never be quite sure if any of your team members are following you when you rush in, which can lead to some stupid deaths.

I would go highlander, but i hate one entire side of the mech being only missles. Personal hangup.

I would rephrase that to Stalkers having a very limited approach to how they play. A stalker kinda requires mastery to outpreform an atlas. Ignoring the broken hardpoint system and PPC laden alphastrike meta. The extra torso twist with dual basic is essential really. a D-DC does just fine with 1x basic, 2x being a huge improvement but not by as big a margin as on a stalker.

2 PPC, AC20(21), 3ASRM6(300), standard 320. Incredibly powerful on all ranges.

My dragons are often biased to Ac5/UAC5, Gauss, lg pulse, and ppcs. Usually faster XL builds of 81-95 kph. Full armor.
Sooo.... opposite of assaults. LOL trying to branch out.
