The dragon's center torso is HUGE. This is a massive liability. It should get an extra crit slot there to make up for it. Makes sense: why else would it be so large?

It's too hard for them to correct something like that.

Opens a can of crit slots.

The awesome needs some love too. Jenners and Atlas are fine. One of the hardest part about building dragons is the missile hardpoint (2 in the case of the 1C) in the center torso but only two crit slots available. Means you can't put an artemis on LRM bigger than LRM5, can't put two SRM6, etc. Makes no sense!

I have no idea what you're trying to say. It's too hard to code?

Does this also mean that Centurions and spiders, who have smaller Center torsos should have a critical space removed?

It was too hard to code a fix for the Hunchback's misaligned crossair for almost a year now. Go figure. :P

Do you hate centurions and spiders? Why do you want to take their crit slot away?

If we wanted to scale crit slots based on size, the Stalker would have to get like 30 slots per side torso and the Commando would only get like 2-4 slots per body part. Do not want.

Can we just focus on the mechs that need help? Stalkers are more than fine.

Sorry but crit size is the same accross all mechs regardless of their size. Perhaps it doesn't always make sense but its there to balance things out.

But I definitely think perhaps they should at least give all Dragons one extra module slot to compensate :P

We can't, because of logic. Currently, the argument you're using for the Dragon is that it should get more slots in its CT "because it's big." The problem is that there are other mechs with big body parts, too. Isolating slot inflation to specific mechs makes it feel artificial and is a double standard (yes, we all know the Dragon is underappreciated and underloved, but that's besides the point).

I'd rather that the Dragon gets its side torso hitboxes extended a bit (Raven style) and some meaningful lightweight ballistic options.

The 1C has two missile hardpoints in the CT, and two critical slots free. How in the world does that make sense? Fix it by adding a crit slot.

I wouldn't mind having a 10x SSRM Catapult :P.

Technically you can use 2 SSRM2 (your best bet, at least until Streaks get nerfed), 2 LRM5, or 2 SRM4 (2 SRM2 would be kinda pointless). Honestly, I think that they should just move a missile hardpoint to a side torso (something like this also needs to happen for the Awesome 9M because it has 4 hardpoints in its CT).

Yes. When you're learning cryengine as you go, it's too hard to change things.
