I just pre-ordered my Shield from nvidia.com, 300$ was the deal maker.
I think as nvidia expands it's PC to shield streaming tech, that MWO would be the Posterchild for such streaming.
The joypad has all the controls needed to play MWO and play it really well too (comparative to a Mouse+Keyboard even)
The only problems I see is a limit to 3-4 weapon groups, and bound keys for zoom,h,n,vision etc might become too much.
Think with me. You're sitting in your living room, busting out some MWO. Laying in bed... MWO. Taking a ****.. MWO!

Its only going to support the PC game streaming feature if MWO is allowed. On top of that, you need to have a compatible GPU from Nvidia in order to stream the game to your Shield. I'm gonna wait to see what Nvidia can get us in Shield 2.0

My GPU is compatible, pair of 680's and from nvidia forums it seems that even if nto supported, 3rd party non steam games should be configurable.

Eh... 5-inch 720p screen kinda killed it for me. When they release Shield 2.0 with a larger screen and 1080 I'll think about it. $50 price cut was a nice surprise, though.
I actually just wrote an article about this thing over at AWESOMEoutof10.com - if you disagree with me, you should sound off in the comments

Good article. I posted my opinion.
5" at 720P is plenty playable in MWO.
PS VITA has NOTHING on the shield bedies it's game library that SONY supports and pays devsto develop for ;-) Granted sony is saying that ps4 games can be streamed off to the vita. Good choice.
I'll pick PC games stream to shield any day over a console game on an inferior vita.

Thanks for reading, Unoid!
Trust me man, I'd love to be able to stream MWO and other PC games to a handheld device. If I had a slightly newer GPU I'd probably get a Shield in spite of the screen size and resolution. I'm certainly not saying that the Shield doesn't have value, I just think it's going to be perceived as having too little value to too large of a portion of the consumer base to be really successful.
