Every time a player fires a PPC/ERPPC, the MWO client will sift through their computer and will roll a pair of virtual dice. On a 9 or higher, the program will delete all of that player's p 0rn, empty the recycle bin, and remove any/all browser bookmarks to the site where said p 0rn was originally downloaded from.

Problem solved. You're all welcome.

Edit: Apparently p 0rn is a filtered word. Who knew.

Even more reliable fix to PPC boating: remove PPCs and ERPPCs from the game. Problem solved.

Naw dawg. We need to keep them in the game, but give the player some hard, REAL choices when boating them. Sure, you can fire one PPC and have a 2/3 chance of keeping your fap library, but the more you fire, the riskier it gets.

Simpler fix, don't get hit by them, and turn your damaged parts away from them.

Why does it bother some, and not others?

Just learn to spread your damage, and hope for the best. That's why I do and I manage a 3+ KDR no problem.

Firing 4 or more ppcs in a set time window will cause them to fire backwards into your mech.

Whoa whoa whoa... Let's slow down here and take a hard, rational look at what you're proposing.

Firing THREE ppc's would have three times the chance of erasing all of your p 0rn. Could you really live with that?
