Well now! Cheap Cicadas are cheaper! That's good.

Of these I vouch for the Cicada 3M as being worth if you find getting the cbills together to be difficult and want to skip the grind.

The 3M is the most expensive in terms of due to its ECM slot, XL engine, pre-enhancements, etc. For the same cbill price you could get a Highlander or better, thus it's definitely worth and it's a welcome shortcut for those that can spare it.

Now since on the surface the 2A and 2B look almost identical I'll give you what separates them. Their principal difference is that the 2B has energy on the arms and one in the CT. The 2A has energy only on the torsos.

The 3C is 4 ballistics. With machine gun buffs that might not be as bad as it sounds but I've also done 3 AC/2s, AC/20, AC/10 + ER PPC, and other combinations. Of them all, most 3C builds tend to be slower moving due to the heavy reliance on ballistic weapons.

The plural of Atlas is Atlases. I used to think it was Atlai too, but I was corrected which caused me to do research, so now I use the correct word. Just nitpicking.

Only 30%? If you included the X5, you'd have something there. It should be more like 50% if you're not including the X5.

50% off should have gone to the 3M.
If you included the X5, you don't have to necessarily do 30% off (but it would be ideal), but at least 20-25% off.

Terrible sale, since most of these are relatively easy to acquire with C-bills (and you get some free STD320 engines for a future assault mech).

LOL I guess I was a little too excited and I just bought 2 cicadas literally seconds before the server came down for the sale. I guess I should have waited for the servers are up message. Oh well still very good mechs.

That may be so but Atlai is much cooler a term and will be used henceforth... (calling Webster's today to have it added)

If you reeeeeally want to get nitpicky, the plural is Atlantes (since it isn't referring to a book of maps, but rather the Greek character )

Anyway, I love my bugs. Love them. It's gotten to the point that I cannot even play another mech. They really are underrated little guys, but that's ok with me. I don't want them to be defiled by people who don't appreciate their beauty

Aaaaactually... there was only one historical/mythological individual named "Atlas" to whom this is referenced and therefore you cannot pluralize that term. The correct way to say it is Atlas Mechs.

They forgot to put in the biggest feature of the sale. Cicadas have magic armor that prevents them from getting harmed by attacks that would normally kill other mechs.
