If this was several months ago I would agree with you. LRM's are pretty lame and are counter productive in the spirit of fairness and skill in a game but they are not that OP. One problem is you are most likely playing an assault map which the new flavor of the quarter is "sniper" weapons even though this community can barely land a medium laser shot on you at 400 meters but nonetheless that is what they are going to. ECM's were given a slight nerf to bring them into balance so everyone has stopped using them and replaced their ravens with jenners, and DC atlas's are now being replaced with Founders Atlas or others. Less ECM means more missiles and on a campy assault map thanks to the sniping fad its going to suck. My solution was to do conquest maps where brawling is inevitable.
