Getting really sick of LRM's this past week. If you can't move above a certain threshold, around 64 km/h, perpendicular to the shooter, LRM's will hit about 75% into the CT depending on the mech, it only gets more accurate with Artemis and TAG AND thanks to the recent trajectory change cover is all but useless. I shot a Blackjack with LRM 25 indirectly and took out almost all his CT armour. I've been on the receiving end in a Quickdraw expect it's been LRM 40+ and insta-cored. Torso twist does nothing thanks to the missile coming down on your head and the only way to dodge it is to already be moving at max speed when they're fired.

Not good when the biggest deterrent to LRM's, cover, doesn't even do its job anymore.

Indeed lrms targeting center torso is getting fairly extreme i had our team run 4 lrms boats of the same type catapult A1 with 6 lrm5s with artemis we melted an atlas is a matter of moments and the damage indicator was all center torso his side torso and cockpit was barely scratched. Return to battle tech rules of 1 damage per missile no splash and spread out impacts to balance them.Lrms will still do respectable damage and will be back to the support role and not dedicated killer like they are now. Its not fun piling the spam in with the cheese. Snipers i can handle but its nigh impossible to torso twist the lrm damage when it still nails center torso all the time. Currently an awesome with 4 lrm 15s is just a massacre of lrms on anyone caught more so if they get tagged.

The CT is the largest part of your mech... where most of the damage from anything is going to land. The End.

Unless you're in a Centurion :)

Just had this happen to me as well and I wasn't in the open. LRM's are still broken in the fact that they are still focusing heavily on CT and not spreading the damage like they were supposed to. Seems our dear dev's have missed something yet, again. Damage is fine (still think it should be 1 per lrm and 2 per srm.. not this fractional bs) and all the trajectory rework is great and all.. they just didn't fix the main problem that had the damage nerf in the first place about 3 or so patches ago.
