The movement system is a great idea and has potential, all it needs is a few hours of tuning and a few days of testing.
So I guess we'll be coming to dead stops over pebbles for the next year and a half then.

I've lurked this whole time, so I suppose now is the time to start. I just bought a 30 dollar machine that gets stuck on a pebble because it is in the 'large' movement category, whatever that means. Because jump jets aren't directional, I just jump up and fall down vertically without clearing said pebble, while I am blasted to oblivion. How about directional jump jets like in MW 2 so that the thing you're producing incentive to use with the new 'its too steep for your fusion powered death machine' patch actually works?

All teams consist of 2 types of mechs, PPC/Guass mechs and LRM boats. 2 LRM Stalkers can kill an entire team right now since missiles fly over all cover unless it's a skyscraper you are right up against. Can't hide in ECM bubbles either because a well placed PPC shot kills it long enough for missiles to fly. Then there is the bug where an AC 20 does 0 damage within about 50m on top of that.
Game is becoming less and less fun.

I'd prefer they just stop making every little bump in a slope dead stop you.
Did they even test this damn thing?

For the love of God, do not start in on LRMs. Whatever they stealth buffed on them seems to make them useful. I'm not 100% convinced however, and will be testing them extensively tomorrow.

LRMs are not a problem. Bring AMS and tell you ECM guy not to charge in first.
Also, if you see the enemy got more than 2 LRM boats, tell you team to rush them. Easy win.

New movement is a good idea: makes maps play the way they were intended, will make things more interesting tactically.
However, it is way too buggy right now, and the current numbers theyre using for it are too extreme.
Right now it has the effect of buffing the High alpha builds that everyone was complaining about.
LRMs have a buff, because people cant get close enough to cover to hide without getting stuck
PPC and Gauss builds have a buff because now you cant maneuver around them, and even slow down all the time to give them an even easier shot.
The movement can be fun if the problem of boating was addressed (there have been some interesting ideas floating around to address this), but to put it in without support only compounds the problem.
