I would like to offer a few Ideas and suggestions. Please format any replies in a similar fashion.
1 is most important. lower is less.

Mech Mechanics-
1. continue to add to the mech in a visual functionality. This includes the visual appearance of weapons to match their weapon type. if the mech is cored, make a Pilot jettison from the cockpit. Make it so the enemy can see him fly off to safety, but not a threat. (also, see Weapons)

2. Limit BAP to a single point on the mech chassis. This way, it is as balanced as the ECM and AMS parts.

3. Ensure all mechs keep there feet on the ground, no matter the angle of the terrain.

4. Continue to add the specific chassis turn, accel, brake distance, and twist.

Weapons.
1. Add new weapons. Or, better yet, add Manufacture specific parts we can select after a win or loss. same with ammo and other parts.

2. Add other parts in general. The command module is still non functional, and still weighs in at 3 tons. Introduce Gyro manufactures to add a new level of customization. Give critical slots a special boost in stats.

3. ensure that Large pulse is lower in heat than a PPC.

4. PPC's propel particles. perhaps there should be some form of blow-back similar to the Autocannons?

5. How are you ever to show a mech punching another mech? how will that control? will you ever do this? when? why not now?

Modules.
1. Add different modules. an Idea is a drone(similar to UAV) that only shoots down incoming missiles. Can not detect enemy units, only missile deterrent for a given amount of time. can be shot down.

2. Add a module that is a voice pack. makes Betty sound like someone else. Like duncan fisher?

3. add a module that saves weight on a mech? unknown game balace, will need caffeine to decide.

4. add a module that makes weapons generate less heat, or lets the weapons fire faster.

Maps
1. Let the community create maps, then submit for PGI review on the forums. Will accept 1-3 maps per month. Changes can be shown to both PGI and the public. Work should be done together with PGI to create the maps. Testing should be done on a forum access server; or by the community on their own computers. if not, then PGI must test in house, and share results on forum.

2. Lava map is a great idea. 3 normal heat, 3 cold, and now 3 hot maps. we now need 3 differing gravity maps. Suggesting a ship yard, a mech yard, and perhaps a jumpship.

3. Differ terrain by adding "soft spots" WoT does this with water, and mechs should be impeded by the movement of a liquid denser than air.

4. fix the geranium generators. Light's falling on them can be stuck, and invincible due to their constant changing of position. AKA vibration in a single space.

Controls and Options

1. Add FOV sliders. add everything that youtube user http://www.youtube.c...er/TotalHalibut
would add to an FPS game. Better yet, ask him for some ideas, and then put them into practice.

2. Show the keyboard, and where the key is located that they are changing the binding too, and from.

3. specify your speed settings, graphic settings. not just HIGH>LOW

4. Perhaps a complete control redesign is in order for all of the new functions wanted in this game. At least for the keyboard.

Other thoughts-
MG buff is perfect. DO NOT ADJUST quite yet.

Missiles are a nice weapon to use now. only LPL to adjust slightly.

When is ATI going to support your game in a PhysX manner? or even SLI, Crossfire, and Multi-monitors? and show us some ideas you have. take in feedback now, rather than later.

Thanks, your Merc V3rg3r3.

How about you post suggestions in the suggestions forum? That might serve a purpose.

Why would I add stuff in the wrong forum? If I want to talk about it, I do so at the right place. Most of your stuff is not thought trough or already answered anyway.
