In the absense of anything else to do until the game ships or more people show up on the forums, might as well fill the gap with something related to the board, no?

Topic is self-explanitory. We're all FWL fans here, we have to have our favorite regiments!

I've never really identified with more than two regiments: The 4th Marik Militia, and the 1st Knights of the Inner Sphere. Both of them, coincidentally, I originally picked because I needed a pair of parade color schemes to paint lances of minis. Upon reading up on the regiments more, I realized just how much I liked both of them. The 4th MM has a really cool blue and white pattern, and it's impossible to not love the 'Mech-stepping-on-tank insignia. The 1st Knights I picked because white with gold just looks good.

For how the units work, they pretty much epitomize the two ends of the Marik force spectrum. The 4th MM is mostly Lights and Mediums and focus on support and flanking. The Knights are the best of the best, and that's pretty much their whole deal. Heavier, better equipped, and better trained, they are the elite.

Both of them call to me in some way, and I'd be proud to represent either of them when the time comes to take the field.

I am a huge fan of the DoA, always getting mroe done with less compared to the majority of house units they are a bit lighter on the mech assets, and since in 3048 we no longer have a DoA I have to go with the 3rd Legionnaries

I have always liked the 13th Marik Militia. I was very disappointed when they went to the Wobbies side. I have a habit of liking units that are on the robes side. I used to love the Waco Rangers too, and we all know how that went.....

The 6th Marik Militia, while perhaps not the greatest in insignia choice, have the awesome Assault battalion; the Death Watch Brigade.

Mixed arms with air superiority, the very model of a modern major military!
