Cn9-Ylw - Worth It?

I've mastered the CN9's and always loved the mech. The CN9-AL is my bread and butter money maker for pugs, with the CN9-A being my mobile little missile boat. Always thought about the YLW but its lack of armament is pretty extreme.
Sure it has an AC20, but it lacks any missile hard points, leaving you a very vulnerable target if you're up against a half-brained pilot or ***** cheeser able to knock off the arm in an alpha.
So, is it worth it, despite having such a glaring flaw?
Also, what's this talk about some upgrade possible to the YLW? Heard some talk about there being a titanium claw or something that was a gift upgrade in the lore coming out this year (timeline wise) Any information on this would be great.
Thanks all!

if you have gotten decent at protecting laser arm on the AL, you have most of Wang play mastered. Of note: it does better if you spend a little cash on it for upgrades. Make it a little faster. Upgrade ML to MPL(you wlll be in peoples faces anyway right?) DHS, Endo, you know normal stuff.
then, like all CN9's, dont be the front man. Wait in the wings. Flank from the side, blat faces, run away, repeat. When someone is busy shooting your Fatlas pal, jump in from the shadows, Surprise Wang! It is really fun, but so you know, not to many people like being surprised by a Wang. There will be a lot of hate for your Wang afterwords, so make sure you leave the scene of the Wanging as quickly as you came so you dont get focus fired by the enemy team full of Wang haters. Everybody will try to get your precious once they realize what is happening. You mustn't let them take your precious. You must escape, and evade. Then you will be free for more Surprise Wangs.
It really is as fun as it sounds.

Have to admit, that since discovering the Dragon 1C (XL300, Gauss, 4ML) I tend to play it more than the YLW, but that doesn't change the fact that the YLW is a great mech so long as you play to its hit 'n' run strengths.

I use mine as a longrange Harasser with 2 Ac2, Maybe not as effektive as the AC20 oder Gauss Variant, but it works for me.

If you feel like you do not have the proper skills or commitment do not buy this mech. I will say if you can master this mech and shred the enemies all the time you will have skills to play any mech but fast lights correctly.
Play smart play support and win.

With torso twisting and an XL loaded it still seems to live for a long time.
Here's how I load out mine. Pretty standard I think.
