DeeBeep my match against you was boring because you stayed on a spire in canyon and tried to snipe me the entire match until about 1-2 minutes left. I litereally just ran back and fourth in the same line in the same grid square the entire time after I found you. You saw what happened to vercinix so you broughy 2 ML and Streaks with an erppc. I switched up because I knew you would pull out streaks like vercinx and heard you firmly state you were bringing range. I didn't evade combat, you just got out played so stop your crying and get over it.

Our match was boring because you were evading, plain and simple. Of course I sat in one spot because you refused to engage inside of 1000 meters. You simply played the clock and knowingly exploited the fact that the "destroy component" rule was being ignored. You should have been called out immediately but the organizers were gracious enough to let you move on until they realized you were never going to honor the spirit of the tournament and decided that you actually had to compete.

The fact that you exploit the rules or lack there-of to guarantee victory through arbitrarity then you should expect people to question and complain. The organizers should have never rescinded the component rule but because they're too nice I'll say it, you ruined the tournament. You dragged out every match to maximum time and made everyone have to stay up until the early hours of the morning, for some it was 4am. Instead of having exciting bouts of mech combat we were given several hours of chicken-chase tactics that made watching grass grow more fun.

If you were "playing to win" then you shouldn't have taken a light mech and you knew better than that. All 31 other participants knew exactly what they were getting into when signing up, your ignorance is not an excuse. Many of us who complained did so because we felt completely disrespected by the way you ruined the tournament for everyone else involved.

Honestly I believe that they shouldn't have reversed the ruling after they had allowed you to exploit it for so long. They should have let you continue until you won without making any kills. The tournament would have been completely soured but they would be even more incentivized to make sure the same situation does not happen again in their next tournament.

I'm not getting into this with you, most of what you just said never actually happened. Your mad that you lost to a jenner (both your arm and leg were cored and would have been blown off eventually anyway). Have some class suck it up and move on.

Wrong. This is about you and those who wanted an enjoyable and competitive tournament. That should be evident by the fact that you weren't allowed to continue exploiting. The fact that you were the only one taking advantage of a caveat in the rules should tell you how disrespectful you were to everyone who participated.

All i hear when i read your comments is a ******** 12 Y.O whining. If your actually 26 as your profile says you are, act like your age and accept you lost well within the rule set. Weebi outplayed you like he did everyone else he played against until they gimped him. If you can't accept this then you shouldn't be playing in tournaments anyways.

Um he was also the ONLY light left in the tournament.......if there where other lights i can bet they would have done the same thing if they were any bit smart. I don't feel disrespected at all, i think he did what he had to do. So don't go assuming everyone thinks the same as you do

The other jenner brought a LL and erppc in its loser match bracket against the BJ. He just got within ml range and was out damaged (without losing components) resulting in a loss leaving me as the only light left. DeeBeep you lost and so did I, you just can't accept it so your going off claiming things that happened when they clearly didn't. As well as speaking for groups of people when your really just talking about yourself. Its ok its hard for people to admit that, it takes awhile for most people to reach that type of maturity. That being said I'm done talking about this "controversy". Its a stupid waist of time for everyone involved. Just act like adults move on and use this first tournament as a stepping stone on to new rules and more interesting match ups in the future.

Correct, he actively engaged his opponent and payed the price for taking a light-mech into an open weight tournament but made it a good fight. You also had good fights against Vic and your rematches after you were made to stop evading combat. You already claimed that you were not listening to TS or streams so obviously you were oblivious to how upset other combatants and spectators were. There was no controversy, it was plain as day that you were evading combat. You only finally engaged the Cataphract on Alpine when you realized you were behind in damage and you still did not destroy a component. Many on TS suggested that armor % should have been the deciding factor which would have invalidated your tagging strategy from the beginning.

Victor had to save face for the tournament and he did his best so those that deserved to win did. Though this issue needs to be made apparent as to why it ruined the tournament and keeping it in the light ensures it doesn't happen again. Even if I had never faced you in the tournament; watching the fights against other combatants was painfully dull and I would still be here complaining regardless.

No he was playing his mech to it's best ability, hit and run, it sounds as tho people just couldn't take they were being totally outsmarted and outplayed by a Jenner pilot.

If you don't want hit and run style tactics, don't mix the weigh class competitions together.

If all you were after is people to rush in and headbang into each other, might as well have made it an assault mech only tournament.

^^^^^^^ My name is MorbiusSire and I approve this message. This is exactly my feeling. by opening up the tournament to everything it allowed it to happen. This was open to everything below 80 tons and all builds were allowed. if they had wanted this arena style matches like you are insisting deebeep then it would have been 60 tons plus with only brawler builds permitted. I have to laugh at how ******** so many people got when a jenner was winning hahaha

There was nothing "smart" about his playstyle. When it came down to it, he had near to no favor in the engagement. A clock saved him the first time and a changed rule gave him the temporary "win".
