How come most of the posts here in this thread about money are from Liao and Merc corps. members? What does this imply about those factions......hmmm......

Ummmm me and Koniving are frequent posters here in New Players. Since we are both members of ZhiZhu it hardly seems strange that we are both Liao. We also answered in this thread multiple times so... yeah.

LRMs sure, 160K arming range
but
PPC's ??? I don't understand , please explain why you would not fire them at point blank range?

PPCs have a 90m minimum range where damage goes from 10 @ 91m to 0 @ 1m
ERPPCs do not have this problem
LRMs have a minimum range of 180m before they arm... firing at a target like an Atlas moving straight at you at 185m means they will not arm since an Atlas can move about ~10m a second. 1.5 second flight time Atlas is 15m closer 170m ding... bounces off hull.

I want to add another question onto this: If you play conquest, and you exit the match, will you get a resource bonus,and if so, will it be the end-match resource bonus your whole team receives, or only the resources your team gathered up to the point that you quit?

Example:

You die a few minutes into the match. Your team has gathered enough resources that if the match ended right at that moment, you'd get, say, 9,000 C-Bills in the Gathered Resources bonus. If you quit, will you still get those? Furthermore, if you quit at that 9,000 C-Bill point, and the team goes on to gather enough resources to the point that the Resource bonus is, say, 20,000 C-Bills, would you earn 9,000 C-Bills, 20,000 C-Bills, or no C-Bills at all?

I'm just wondering, because I realized that some of the more industrious players could potentially exploit this, purely from a C-Bill:Time ratio, to maximize their earnings in a minimum amount of time, at the expense of being a waste of a teammate by suicide charging the enemy ASAP so they can quick and start another match. I'm sure if its possible, and if they earn more C-Bills per minute using that method rather than playing normally, people would exploit it.

I've learned a lot by sticking around after being killed. As a relatively new player, watching others has helped me learn what to do and what not to do. Plus, I like to watch my team when they're playing well win or lose.
