Anyone seen Dune, where they have the thumper thingies you stick in the ground to summon the sand worms with the vibrations? I'm thinking that. Frozen city, a spider/jenner could zoom in at 150kph, drop one off in the cave, then run away. It shouldn't be too expensive, as it's not *uber* useful, but it'll add yet another variable to information warfare. Thoughts?
Don't be afraid of hurting my feelings; this isn't something I think would ever make it in, this is more of a fun "what if" type thing. Any thoughts, feedback, ribbing would be welcomed (and deflected, and responded to in a snippy yet still polite manner!).

What would be intersting is if you could buy different types.
So you could buy:
You would need them to move a bit about randomly or in short lines maybe forward, then back to simulate mech movement otherwise it would be too easy to distinguish from a true moving mech, if a pulse just pings without moving.
Or maybe you get a becon whcih drops, then you move in a direction (up to a limited distance) and then automatically another beacon drops, then pulses between the two move back and forth between the two. At different speeds depending on the weight class of the beacon you bought.
So you could buy:
- a stand still one (one that doesn't move), just sends out a pulse.
- a quick mover (like a light) that moves around a bit (randomly) sending out a pulse
- a medium mover (like a medium or heavy) that again moves randomly about sending out pulses
- a slow mover (like an assault)

Thanks for the feedback - I'm surprised this didn't get more replies, a) from people that love seismic how it is, and from people that hate seismic how it is
