I was thinking about putting together a Quickdraw as follows..
2 Large Laser
2 SSRM2
XL360
Full Armor minus about 4 points
Endo
Ferro
14 DHS
Playing as an aggressive Light/Medium hunter.
Anyone try one yet?

I can tell you right now that you will certainly not have problems with heat, but you will also have extremely low firepower.
Take off the 2 LL, drop the Ferro, and throw on 4 ML instead. I know all the QD's have enough energy hardpoints for that.
Then, with the saved tonnage from removing 10 tons worth of energy weapons and only adding 4 tons in their place, (and whatever you need to get your armor back to that same level without Ferro), throw on DHS, BAP,
AMS (if you don't have it), and then, if you still have room, some more ammo for the Streaks.
Your max range will only be 540, but you'll do much more damage.
Something like this:

I can tell you that the QD as an honorary Dragon has the speed to close range on most enemies, so usually you can get away with ML armament. Remember both Mechs are Hit and Run fighters, not brawlers
What does make the difference is running cooler while dueling Lights, so that you can keep up fire to demoralise the enemy. I should not, but find a steady bombardment by the enemy even with SRM 2's unnerving in my Jenners, and break off with fatal consequences. Many Lights will break off immediately after a face full of lasers and a salvo of SRMs. At least the Jenners do, what with all hits on the CT anyway. You may find Cravens a real handful, though.
