The past few replies have basically summed up how important this thread is and if it has anything to do with actual gameplay balance.

Let's just say.... at this point, we've got nothing better to do instead of playing MWO....

The game *is* in it's best state at the moment. Most mechs, HSR is implemented, netcode has been fixed and is at it's best state now.
Is there work still to be done? God yes. Has PGI manufactured some of the work recently that needs to be done? Another yes. But we're at the stage of two steps forward, one step back. That's a whole lot better than two steps forward, two or three back.
So I agree that we're at the best stage *so far*, but we still have a way to go.

I just got an email from PGI about the MC reward from the tourny.
It also has the emails of every other tourny winner listed.

The thing that frustrates me most is that I think all it would take is a few upper-crust players getting in a room alone with the weapon value file for a couple hours. It might need tuning after that, but I honestly believe you'd see a 500% improvement to MW:O overnight.
You mean you want them to ask you right?

I think that (hilarious clips aside) both sides have a point.
The game does have some serious issues, and the current PPC fest is tiresome - but the gameplay does move in cycles and the next buff/nerf/PTW *cough*phoenix*cough* storm in a teacup will be just as world-endingly apocalytic... Having said that, the position of 'the game is the best it has ever been' cannot be seriously refuted. More maps, more mechs, more modules, HSR's, promised balancing passes being completed (shows there is work going on, if not done to the satisfaction of all). On top of all that there is SoonTM with UI 2.0 and CW etc etc.
Just saying, all the doom and gloom seems to be ignoring the fact that real progress is creeping along.
and now...
