Founders aren't getting the shaft. You were given an option in early stages to support the game and were rewarded. They have changed their ideas and added new things and changed things. But i don't think they are sitting at their pc like "check this guys next patch we are really gonna **** with those stupid founders". They have just added new ways for them to get money and want to add incentives so people aren't just like "well thats not different enough for me to spend $80" Sorry you feel that way. But i think you wrongfully feel that way. (i am not a founder but i have sunk $200+ in the game just to support it until clans(would have been a founder but didnt hear about it early enough(ad7-d(f) is ******* sexy)))

Should founders get free Phoenix mechs?

Nope. I paid for premium time, 4 mechs, a fancy forum/in-game tag that I never cared about to begin with, and the chance to support the first good Mechwarrior title since Mechwarrior 3: Pirate's Moon. I did not pay for some sort of 'free mechs for life' program (although that sort of option might be kind of cool, if expensive, sort of like those season passes they do for Forza on the XBox 360).

Did you really, I mean really, think that this was not going to happen when you bought the Founder's mechs? Personally, I bought the package full well knowing that mechs would come later with better bonuses. It's just sound business on the part of PGI/IGP. Like I said, I don't care if they want to retool the bonuses, but under no circumstances do I think they they should change them nor do I think that anyone who bought a Founder's is entitled to an update on bonuses.

It's effectively naive to think the newer stuff would not have more attractive features than the older stuff. That's how they get people to continue buying things. That they are doing it in a way that (so far) does not make the RealMoney options empirically better than the FakeMoney options is to their credit. But in order to get people to continue buying stuff, the perks will continue to improve (or at the very least be different from one another) over time.

About the only things I think Founders should possibly get above what they PAID FOR, is the ability to use differing colors (coming, though they already butchered the Jenner in the process) and having the onuses bumped in line with the Hero Mechs.

Beyond that? NADA. Zip.

Would I be upset if PGI gave Founders the Option to swap out for the equivalent class Phoenix Mech? Probably not, but where would it end? When they somehow Bring Out Warhammers and Marauders, then what, should the Founders get those, too?

No. I just want PGI to deliver the game they promoted which convinced me to buy my Founder's Pack in the first place.

I think founders should get a unique "founders" camo/skin that can be used on any battlemech. This is all i want.

I like the cockpit item for founders.

Would appreciate a Cbill % boost on the old founder horses, and maybe a faction loyalty boost, but won't cry about it.

I think that founders should be able to benefit somehow. For example pick ONE of the mechs to be released in phoenix and recieve it for free. And for that the reasoning is simple! I feel this way because the reason why most founders initially invested in this game IS Community Warfare and that promise has still not been realized a couple of years later.

No but I do think the project phoenix founder's cockpit item should should give +5% cbills and +10% loyalty to any founder's mech youre piloting. This would make up for the fact that founders' mechs only get 25% extra cbills while every other hero/phoenix mech gets 30%. That extra 5% has always rubbed me the wrong way. And also giving the 10% loyalty bonus to founders mechs just makes sense.

I got exactly what I was promised in the founders package; nothing more, nothing less. It's the trolls of the entailment generation that demand things that were never offered.

as much i will concede get an even c-bill bonus and raise it to 30% equal to all hero mechs, founders and phoenix mechs but that's all

no - but current hero mechs and founder mechs should receive Loyalty points bonus.

Because this is new - and was not around when the mechs were introduced, it clearly could not be awarded to the older mechs.

If they do not - people will simply run the newer mechs and old mechs will not get run.
