Will there be any support for it? I don't have a joystick setup anymore, and using the keyboard for this game just isn't right! It doesn't really provide a proper immersive experience.

Why?
EDIT:
ok ok ok so be fair. Support depends on your software. I don't see why you couldn't play with a 360 controller... But why would you?
Go to your local thrift store and look around. Chances are they will have a few older model joysticks you can use.
Sidwinder 3d pro's are everywhere and cheap. Just need an adapter.

http://www.xpadder.com
Go purchase this and you never, never have to worry about a game supporting any type of pad every again. I can promise you Xpadder will be vastly superior to any sort of controller support they add. All pc pad users should have xpadder, it is that good.
Things Xpadder can do:
-program sequences to a button
-variable autofire
-set up buttons as shift keys (hold down say LB and all buttons take on a new function.)
-map sticks to act as mouse

You know, xpadder is ok. But the open source thing about it bugs me. Plus some games it gives a delay during "translation."

Maybe he likes gamepads, I know a few who hate joysticks. I've thought about it and the 360 gamepad wouldn't be that bad.
IDK how well the 360 controller is supported though I have a few friends that do PC game with them and they seem to enjoy it.
Edit: I still think anyone should be near their KB because well there's probably a few KB command that your gonna use.
