Without BAP: targets disappear after you reach 801m.
With BAP: targets disappear after you reach 801m.
Is this description wrong? Is training mode just bugged? Or is this actually broken?

There is no reason why equipped items dont work in the TESTING Grounds, though, efficiencies do not work there

erm.. whats the difference here between sensor range and LoS targeting?

I would also like to know this, I can't imagine what the difference could be.

It does allow you to target an ECM mech near you (~200m)... but this is where the BAP fails.
The ecm 'i wont let you lock missiles or share target data' is still in effect... so really, its pointless to equip a BAP to 'fend off' ECM mechs.

Would not be surprised if this were true.

BAP allows 2 things:
- extends furthest targeting range, 800m goes to 1000m.
- against ECM cloaked Mechs, normally you have to be within 200m to target but BAP gives another 50m.
Not sure about sharing targeting info, I run BAP on a HBK-4SP right now and there are times I am near an ECM Atlas-DC, teammates can launch LRMs at it even though I am the only one near him.

BAP counters one ECM (the closest to your Mech) within 150 meters. When the ECM is countered, the Mech can be targeted

Without BAP and advanced sensor this gap is between 180 to 200 meters.
