The real moral of the story here (beside "I can be a smartzz like you" too) is that to have faith in the modelers to not screw it up is about like trusting the NSA NOT to read your email. As the constant growing mech scale demonstrates.


Got over 150 matchs in a Quickdraw and have not been heat shot once so not sure where the complaining is comming from unless it is just those people who like to complain about everything.

It was hotfixed like 10 hours after release IIRC, and based on the patch notes, it was only a 7 day wait for an official tweak.

But yeah, there are still some hitbox issues out there.

It's not going to be any easier to head-shot than the Hunchback, Centurion, or Trebuchet, both of which are easy enough when they aren't moving but quite a bit harder when they're actively evading.

Given that the head hitbox is likely going to be no larger than that of most medium mechs and the speed this thing will be capable of (105.3 kph before tweak), I'm not worried.

Concept art not always translating to 3D aside. If it does become an issue PGI will resize the head hit box.

You forgot Atlas. To be fair though, Cicada, Cataphract, and Atlas all had their head hitboxes changed after they were released because they were getting headshot way too often. 'Phract even got a hotfix for it. You're not wrong, but sometimes they don't quite have it on the first try. :(
