AC/5
LRM 5
SRM 2
Medium Laser
It will be l be ran with
ER/PPCs
Gauss Rifles
AC/20
5 tons heavier than the HBK with no large RT hump, and it can jump.
The Unsee/Reseen. Its always been about nastolgia, never about the loadouts.

Liberal hardpoint system. Blame PGI, they decided this. Or if this is not a complain then...let's be fair and say that the standard configuration of the Shadow Hawk is what seems to me the most under-gunned mech ever lol.

An ac/20 might be the gun I'd like to run it with. I mean if I buy the pack at all. PGI has two patches to convince me.

that is so true.
here's what i've been thinking.
Large laser
AC/ 10
3 ssrm
stock engine or maybe a big xl
jj if possible.
not too hot, not too fragile, not too slow and super fricking cool.
Also, the dual AC/ 5 build is a wrecking machine ! don't forget that...

2x SSRM-2
AC/20 or Gauss
...
Won't fit on a 55 Ton mech and do well, at all.
Probably see more PPC/ERPPC + UAC/5 builds than PPC/ERPPC + Gauss

The 2Hb on the other hand sacks one of the 3 missile hard-points for a much needed additional energy point.

Doubt we will see those builds often. AC/20 for example pretty much effectively takes up almost all the available weight in the mech becuase it will require a standard engine. Guass can be run with an XL but still takes up quite a bit of weight.
I think most will have balanced builds such as a ER PPC, AC/5, 3 streak build or something similar.
As far as the ones we haven't seen yet. I expect they wil actually be the one that will offer the most flexibility, with each probably having several more Energy mounts thus allowing a much more flexible and effective build.

If you would like to seriously discuss the current in-game trend of High-Alpha Sniping, then you may wish to visit the Gameplay Balance section of the forums, where many discussions exist regarding that issue. You may also create your own thread if you want to generate a discussion about an issue or a perspective on an issue that is not already being represented. If you wish to create a productive discussion regarding the upcoming Phoenix Mechs, then you may do so in either the Upcoming features section but also the Mechs and Loadouts section if you're intention is to discuss Loadouts on particular Phoenix Mechs.
