Cant tell if going to be easy to hit or hard to hit

judging from op's pic it reminds me of the centurion. the arms are big and held high (good shields) and it has a very slender waist (huge gaps between arms and side torso). these are the same characteristics of the centurion, might make a very tough to kill mech.

Look closely at the torso!
Look closely at the Shadow Hawk concept art torso!
Twin Towers!

Also in b4 "can't effectively boat 2xAC/20 AND 2-4 PPC on Victor" TROLOL.

Dunno what everyone's complaining about with regard to look, the concept art is of a boxy mech so the 3D model is a boxy mech, they look very close. Also bear in mind the different perspectives when trying to compare proportions.

Gauss woudl be an obvius thing to do since all the victors have AC20s as stock. Going with the general victor theme it may have a couple of machineguns. That definately looks like a ppc though. It will also most likely have jump jets though it would be nice for them to actually make the jump jets more useful than they are currently.

its way too wide

seems like proportions are rarely retained from the concept art

yeah, that's also why the centurion is a box now :P compared to the concept art

For me, the Victor's iconic look has always centered on the distinctive slope of it's cockpit. Alex REALLY captured that profile in his concept art.

But...the 3D model looks like they stuck a microwave on top of the chassis. Where are the curves? I...was...excited for the Victor?

You can't possibly be surprised... look at the Jagermech.

I was concerned that the Victor would be lacking for hardpoints - but this hero mech seems to be stacked. I see at least 1 ballistic on the RA. Looks like at least 2 missile hardpoints (one inside of the RA and one LT), and then either 3 or 4 energy hardpoints (2 RT and 1 or 2 in LA). Add in jump jets, up to 494 armor and a max speed up to 86kph... Lots of possibilities for this guy.

Only downside I see is that it looks like they've simply ripped the head off of a quickdraw and planted it onto an AWS to make the model. It's going to be a big target and very easy to hit. And on the pure conjecture side, I'm guessing it won't be as agile as the AWS - in kind of the same way the TBT isn't as agile as the CN9. So long as it doesn't handle like Pretty Baby, I'll probably get it all the same... If they give it a "quirk-over" like PB though, there's no chance I'll fork out for it.

The victor will be fine.

This will be possible with just the stock VTR-9A hardpoints.

*shrug* To me the Jagermech looks pretty much just like the Rifleman...I'm not sure WHAT the Victor looks like.

EDIT: NOPE! I DO know what it looks like. It looks like a NovaCat.

LOL... Good. The Victor meta should fix everything! We may never see 6PPC stalkers and poptart 732s again after July ;)

Far as I'm concerned the Jager was still done pretty well in the modeling, its my favorite current looking model in game.

That "Victor" is an abomination. I hope its just a bad angle.

Coming July 2nd most likely

The issue is not it's too wide. The issue is it's missing its stomach.

The stomach is there, but that much thicker chest and bulkier shoulders make the stomach look really small in comparison. It looks like the concept art was before the Victor took a bunch of steroids and turned into the in-game version,

Ok. It does have a stomach, but it's half way shoved into its chest. :(
