It's probably the perspective he was trying to portray... as if we're an infantryman thats in its path.
But its got no real chassis box with the flared pattern where the nose should be attached to it.
Not saying I can do better, I can't and its still a rocking pic but if it goes public then expect the art critics.

That artwork definitely looks the Madcat Alt Config D. 2x ERPPC, 1x ER Small Laser, with 4x SSRM6.
2 of the SSRM6 fire forward (the tubes show six on the torso), while 2 SSRM6 fire to the rear, so the other tubes would be behind the missile boxes where you can see the back-end of the exhaust port of the rear firing SSRM6 below the forward firing ones. That's also why the boxes are so small. Alex definitely pays close attention to record sheets.

The Wolf Hound is still firing, they ain't done yet! The Banshee is helping out, but they will soon be hit by MWO Auto-Bot Streaks™ and 30 damage worth of Clan ER PPC. Somehow the Banshee can't hit the broadside of a barn, since one their lasers hit the building. After the noob Banshee is taken care of, then the Wolfhound is next for the finishing kill.

Ah, what you don't see here is that Wolfhound is piloted by Daniel Allard, so therefore he has the power of "Author Fiat". So that laser hitting the Timberwolf? Yeah, that's a crit on SRM ammo. CASE will protect the clanner from total destruction, but he'll step back in shock from the miracle hit. He will then stagger onto a "banana peel" (a broken commando you can't see) and fall, onto his cockpit, for the kill.
Game, Kell Hounds.

My favorite Mad Cat so far is the one in the intro vid for MechCommander one. This one looks close to it.
Indeed it is the Timber Wolf D. One of the best if you ask me.

I have very conflicting feelings about him now.
Unless it's just the weird bronies that he hates, then it's just...actually, this is still pretty brutal.
