I posted a topic about the Alpha Strike cover art in the main Clan forum, and I would be perfectly happy if this is what the MWO Timber Wolf looked like.

Its what a Mad Cat Alt Config. D looks like. Apart from the small SSRM6 missile boxes, it looks pretty much exactly like the 3050 Mad Cat artwork.

I owe him a at least a beer for that. Furry haters are good people.

The sad truth is that the Madcat/Timberwolf is going to suck. It is going to have huge RT/LT sections with those missile pods and and actually torso. Also it suffers from the cockpit being smack dab in center mass just like the Catapult meaning headshots galore. In the end sadly it will be the "Awesome" of Clan mechs.

Not that that will stop us from playing it. Everyone loves the Timberwolf. It's the icon of the clans, and a mech a lot of us grew up with. MW2 was my first real video game ever. I already know what clan mechs I'm getting, I just hope PGI gives them to us.

The timberwolf was (as far as I can remember) always way too easy to kill in Mechwarrior games. I always loved them, as well as the Mad Cat MK II, but they always went pop from cockpit death way to quickly.

Nice artwork, I like it. I don't have an issue with the legs, other Mad Cat art shows them to be fairly leggy. Besides, how often do 75 ton heavy mechs get legged anyway?

It's going to die to cockpit shots though, but really, with all the firepower, speed, and armor a Mad Cat can tote, it needs some weakness. xD
