(No. I wouldn't spell it that way unless forced to by the forums.)
A viewer of my Trial By Fire series asked me to demonstrate ways that I would build out stock mechs, so I decided to use this new video series to demonstrate three different options at three different cost levels.
At the Bronze level, I attempt to make the stock mech viable for the least amount of c-bills possible. This normally involves upgrading to double heat sinks and swapping ammo locations out of the torsos.
At the Silver level, we step things up a bit. This may include upgrading engine sizes, purchasing new weapon loadouts, and basically building off what we started at with Bronze.
Finally, at the Gold level, we pull out all the stops to attempt to min/max the mech as much as possible, as if c-bills were unlimited.
There are plenty of other ways to build these mechs out than the ways I suggest. These are just examples, and they may not be the "best" builds depending on your personal preferences, or the changing state of the game. These builds are just meant as a jumping off point for newer players, to give them the basics on how to think about customizing their mechanical juggernauts.
I'm sure many of you can come up build ideas of your own, and I encourage you to share yours in the comments below.
I've posted it here in the New Player Help section and in the Fan/Audio Video section as well.
