As of this week im getting bad lag and rubber banding from average highs 90`s - 110 ping to over 350 - 400+ ping im from the UK and its never as bad as this.
My broadband is 80mb down 20mb up and its never been a problem before.
sys specs windows 7 64bit
I5 2500K AT 4.2
EVGA Classified gtx770 4mb running stock speed no oc as of yet running latest drivers 332.21
running mwo full window 1920x1200 v-sync off
all settings v high + post aa
front end screen 60fps / normal ingame 90+ fps....with the high ping ingame fps is 60 or less but im lagging horribly and rubber banding all over
When I load into a game there the black screen which lasts until I drop into the game to find im the last one to drop or the game has already started then the lag hits and the game is {Scrap} to play
Any ideas to sort this
thanks

I don't know if it helps, but try reinstalling the game or using the Repair Tool. I had this problem in the Highlander patch (ping from 170 was 600~900 and rarely returned to 170) and I fully reinstalled.
PS: Before fully reinstalling try using the Repair tool.

ran the repair tool and it seems to have done the trick so far ping is back to a steady 100..cheers
edit....update I had 2 games that ran fine no problems at all...now when I launch a game I get to the point it picks the map then I get a black screen and nothing happens just hangs there and ive got to ctrl alt del to get out and close the game but it says its still running ..great if I want to watch a black screen lol...
if I wait long enough I get thrown back to the garage and the mech I choose before hand is locked into the previous game which didn't work and this happens every time I try and launch a game
Ive uninstalled the game and re installed it and still I get the black screen..ran the repair tool and its still doesn't work..could it be the latest nvidia drivers ?
any ideas

Black screen : try enabling v-sync in the game settings ( worked for me ) .
Lag seems to be afecting every player from uk ( try tracerting www.mwmercs.com or mechwarrior server ip) .

OK another update
...this morning I did the usual defrag was only at 3% but did it anyway , the normal anti mailware virus scan then I turned of the router for abit and rebooted my BT hub5 router and hey presto ran mechwarrior all day without a hitch
