1 ton gauss ammo
8.5 tons internal structure
0 armor
0 additional HS over 10
Leaving 11.5 tons for a tiny engine, gyro, cockpit. I think it's doable and you might even have a little left for armor.

It would also help fix the Awesome. If you gave all other mechs a max of 2 large energy hard-points, and the Awesome 3, it would be the only mech able to field 3x PPCs.

Unfortunately XL won't fit, because 3 PPCs in each side torso only leaves 2 slots empty. Maybe endosteel could fit ? What's the lightest engine that can fit in a Stalker ? It'd be the same for the Battlemaster.
Edit: no wait duh. 3 PPCs is only 9 crit slots. Yeah, you're right XL engine would fit.

It'll destroy anything 50 tons or smaller in 1 salvo and remove 85% of an Atlas' CT armor. It'd be worth a try, even just for lulz.

Didn't someone on this forum have a sig of an Awesome with 6 or 8 PPC's? That always made me chuckle.

Definitely. I love a good cheese build...but this one falls more in the Casu Marzu category of cheese.

Think it was
4 PPC +5 heat
5 PPC +10 heat
6 PPC +20 heat
7PPC +40 heat???
So thats 96 heat total +1 for the gauss and um you have 10 DHS lets say so if all internal engine thats a threshold of 50.
Um you hit 194% of max heat on a low heat map and um stay shutdown till you die of self inflicted heat damage.
Not saying the recent multi-weapon heat change fixed much, but it does seem it would stop this hehe.

good luck bro, I've been saying this for 8 months and this keep falling on deaf ears (or blind eyes in this context)
I made this thread just to show how all fixes except HP restrictions will make the Awesome still as useless as it currently is.
