I decided to post this to see what mechs people would like to see most. The Poll is so you only get to vote for a favorite of each class. The list is far from comprehensive, but I have only left out a few of the medium mechs because of the constraints of the poll system. The lists were compiled from the Battletech 3025 and 3050 Technical Readouts.

I've seen other posts about what mechs everyone would like to see, but if you only had one vote in each class what would you choose?

Valkyrie...a little slower then either a Wasp or Stinger, but correspondingly a little more powerful. Excellent Strike package material.

Shadow Hawk...would have preferred Phoenix Hawk, but you vote based on the options. Good mix of weaponry, and a solid platform.

I didn't see it added but I'd also have voted for the Thorn under the mediums catergory

Why did you include Commando, Raven and Cicada, which are already confirmed for MWO?

I was more into compiling the list than worrying about what was already in. If you know what's in don't vote for them.

I voted Shadowhawk but I like the idea of the Wolverine or the Hatchetman. A Griffin would be cool to. If they put the Griffin in I would name it Peter so I would be piloting Peter Griffin ......LOL

I am truly hoping to see more chassis especially in the medium strike mechs. Due to its limited firepower i dont really concider a cicada a medium. Centurion is a little slow. Wolverine and shadow hawk would be great medium choices along with the griffin

Locust a solid light scout. Not a lot of weps but fast and a classic design

I love the Firefly and Wolfhound, so those are my picks for the light class.

For mediums? Honestly, besides the Crab, I dislike most IS medium mechs. The only IS medium I love is the Bushwacker, but that is 4 years from now.

I probably should have left out the Unseen. They are iconic to me though, and some of the best designs in the early versions of the game. I did leave off the Phoenix Hawk, because it was one of the unseen and I couldn't get all the mediums on the list otherwise.

I voted for Wolfhound for light. It's a fantastic 'Mech and would be great with its all energy load out for long missions.

For medium I voted for the Harchetman. Even thigh physical combat isn't currently in, I'm hopin it does eventually get added :-)

I know it makes me a little odd to pick the Ostscout, but I like the idea of trying to utilize a 'Mech like this for extreme speed scouting. Maybe it's the challenge of knowing there's really not much to defend myself other than my own piloting skills and raw speed / jump distance.

My second pick was the Shadow Hawk because it has an excellent blend of packages, mobility and armor. It's a design that lots of pilots have used and loved over the years, which only adds points in its favor (in my opinion).

I'd love to see the Hatchetman make it in, but IDK if they are going to include melee attacks other thana straight on charge, the hatchet may be op if it's the only mech with a meelee weapon. Another one I'd love to see, but doubt they'll include is the Pheonix Hawk LAM, I loved that mech.

You can actually do this already with the cicada (it can get the same top speed and JJ capacity with significantly better armament)

Technically this variant was invented after the clan invasion, but I believe you can pull it off in mechlab with current tech (or most of it at least), assuming they allow JJ's (they said if any variant had them you can put them on, but the 3F was invented after clan invasion sooooo idk).

Sarna said:

CDA-3F - The -3F Cicada is one of the most advanced versions of this 'Mech and was designed following the Clan Invasion. The chassis has been constructed using Endo Steel construction techniques and the 'Mech is protected with six and a half tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor. The -3F is powered by an extralight engine, can jump up to two hundred and forty meters, and carries a weapons loadout that appears to be a cross between the -2A and -3C models. The primary weapon is an ER PPC, which is backed up by two Medium Lasers.

I think it's hard to think of a mech that's more closely associated to its parent state than the Vindicator. The workhorse of the CCAF should make it to the field, water-cooled PPC and all.

Light: Valkyrie
Nice mobile scout mech with enough firepower to act as a skirmisher/flanker/fire support unit.

Medium: Phoenix Hawk
Good recon mech and flanking unit. If it was in game it would be my first choice unless a Warhammer or Crusader was available.
