What purpose would they ever serve announcing 4000 keys and then only giving out 200?

And whether you tested MWBT or not is irrelevant; They are not able to read every single person's resume and then spend time deliberating the merit of every invitee, and if they were hand-picking anyone it wouldn't be whiners and conspiracy theorists who think they deserve it more than the rest of us.

your high end computer is also irrelevant. They already know MWO will run on a high end computer, that is not a facet worth testing.

Choosing illogical people you isnt that great either.

1) If the NDA is so critical - tossing out invites to random people, including those who said they were 85 despite being 12, isnt a great idea. 4000 is a lot to keep track of... and a huge # of active mech fans on here have NOT been chosen. For their claims and what we see to coexist, that means a good # of people getting in are people like my real life friends.. they dont care at all about battletech.

2)They already check every invitee... NDA amirite??? anyway, my record is relevant. My age, past love for the franchise, and experience with a similar game mean this isnt 100% new to me (like it is to most of their testers). Im sure they want some new people... but it is also good to get people in who have been following the game for around 15 years.

3)My high end computer is relevant. If it runs slow on AMD hardware, there is something wrong. For example, I run Battlefield 3 with 64 players and full scale destruction at 70-100 FPS online. I run World of Warcraft between 30-60 when there is action. Yes, the city is 100+, but WoW's engine is terrible for recent/DX software. A 25 man raid gets 25 fps while BF3 utter chaos with FPS latency requirements and 64 players runs 300%+ faster. THAT is important to know.

So far the first Cryengine is TERRIBLY sluggish and even high end computers, so yes, high end testing is relevant... how well does it scale as you turn the settings up? Make the visuals 25% better, does it take 500% more GPU power like WoWs engine?

All in all you sound pretty bitter... and are wrong in every aspect.

lol this is a perfect example of why developers can't win. Before they announced keys were going out, people complained they were not being told, now they are announcing keys are going out, people are complaining they are being told.

Deal with disapointment, it can sometimes be tough but it teaches you an important lesson in life.

i figure it this way they dont want people with records they want total noobs that know nothing about the game to go test it so all of use experince folks will just have to sit and wait abd be content with our cake, pie, and cookies

I would be dissapointed if they stopped announcing it. I like knowing how many keys are being given out each period and it lets you know when you might get lucky. If they didn't announce it you wouldn't even know if they had given any keys out that day so you wouldn't even know if you should be hoping at all.
