There are two accounts that play from this computer, my own and my son's, we are both left handed and use the joystick/mouse combo to control our mechs. No biggie but here's the rub, EVERY SINGLE TIME I LOG INTO MWO I HAVE TO REBIND MY KEYSETTINGS >.<
If my son logs on (despite using EXACTLY the same bindings) the controls are as we left them, but when I log in the bindings are back to default.
This has been like this since UI1
Whisky Tango Foxtrot
It's not a gamebreaker, nor something that stops me playing,, just an irritant.
Any ideas?

This is another example of why I don't ever change default bindings and I buy devices that can be mapped instead. I use to do things your way, then I got to frustrated with keys changing on me from time to time. Remap the device, not the game.

a couple things come to mind. when exiting the game do you log out then exit? some people have reported this problem happening when they just exit the game or when the game time's out due to inactivity. if your running windows7 do both of you run MWO as administrator? have you run a check disk/ scan disk to check for corruption and/or bad sectors? have you run the MWO repair tool?
a workaround: You could make a copy of your user profile to another folder and copy that to mwo every time prior to running it.

When exiting the game do you log out then exit? Yes
If your running windows7 do both of you run MWO as administrator? Yes we both use my profile on win7
Have you run a check disk/ scan disk to check for corruption and/or bad sectors? Yes
Have you run the MWO repair tool? Yes
If my son log's out then I log in the bindings are reset,, If I log out and my son logs in,, the bindings are as we set them
I suppose the upside is that I can configure my settings with my eyes shut now
Note - it does not affect any other settings apart from control bindings
