Who are we:
The Dark Star Alliance is a multi-gaming group that was originally founded on the Mechwarrior franchise. Our history stretches back decades to the days of table top and we have many passionate players.
We are primarily based in the Oceanic region (Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia) but we have a contingent of dedicated European and US based players as well.
Currently our faction numbers just over 100 members and most nights we have a full 12 man group running in the evenings.
We are looking for:
Pilots of any skill level looking to step up and play competitively or those just looking for a fun group to play with. We provide both casual and hardcore teams to enlist with.
Our expert pilots will be prepared to train any new recruits who wish to improve their gunnery, piloting and teamwork skills.
There will be potential for committed pilots to gain rank and become officers over time.
We are looking for both IS/Clan pilots to play regular drops and CW campaigns.
About our divisions:
Our Hardcore Competitive team - the elite of the elite are known as the 'Darkstar Alliance Rangers'. DSA Rangers are looking to play in competitions based in the Oceanic timezone, we placed 3rd in our first round of the MRBC league and also did well in the HPL (High Pingers League).
Our more casual team and reserves for competitions are known as the 'Redmoon Guards'. This motley bunch contains some of the more 'interesting' pilots you will ever drop with. Many laughs and awesome times will be had with this lot.
We have a Teamspeak server for comms and focus on having a good time rather than winning at all cost. if you are an experienced pilot you will be in good company, if you are new at the game then we will help you to become better. We respect each other and nobody will be bullied or made fun of.
We are aligned with:
DSA (Inner Sphere Faction) and cDSA (Clan Merc. Faction)
Our allegiance goes to the faction that treats us best and pays us well.
We are a mercenary group and our loyalty lies with the C-Bill
