Which of these 2 variants, in your opinion, is superior for Brawling?

1-X w/ 5 MLas + AC/20

or

2-X w/ 3 MLas + AC/20 + 2 ASRM4?

Been looking to spend some dough on a 3rd Phract chassis so I could get the Elite Efficiencies unlocked, and I was wondering which of the 2 I should be spending my time on.

I don't own a 2x so I can't really compare the gameplay on each but I run a 1x with 5ML and ac20, http://mwo.smurfy-ne...ac75af377b36acd, and I usually average 600-700 damage a match with this build if you know how to play smart and not just rush into big groups. On the other hand the 2x I just made, http://mwo.smurfy-ne...1138fd8f22e6f8d, it has a higher alpha than the 1x but I look at it this way the arms will get blown off pretty easily and there goes a big chunk of firepower. I would prefer the 1x so that I can have more ammo for my ac20 and have fewer weapon groups to worry about trying to fire. Others may have different opinions but this is my rationale and the 1x suits my play style.

They are more or less the same, although the 2X is more difficult as you have three different weapons with three different projectile velocities. I have both, and my 1X is more successful by far, although I run it with STD335 engine, 5 medium lasers and 1 Gauss rifle.

Definitely one of my most dangerous mechs, as fast as many medium mechs, with more armor, more firepower and roughly the same size <_<

Cool, I was also leaning towards the 1X, but I just wanted to know what other people thought.

Thanks for the input!
