If i bring both the BAP and ECM to the fight, and ECM gets shot, will BAP see that as no ECM equiped and take over the counter enemy ecm?

I think that BAP automatically counters one enemy ECM within range, so as long as there is an enemy within range and your BAP is in tact, then it will counter it. Since I don't use ECM I can't tell you if your ECM counter will stack with BAP, but if it does, then it would mean that you could counter 2 ECMs within range, then when your ECM got shot, you'd only be able to counter one.

iirc ECM/BAP together, you lose the counter for ECM...

No as far as i understand, ECM overrides BAP counter when you have both equiped. BAP counter for ECM does not work with both on and that is a known fact. But how does BAP disable itself by just checking if you have ECM equped on the mech, or if you have ECM alive/active. If ECM gets shot and it does so often, will BAP take over once it is down or not.

BAP does not counter ECM. All it does is it lets you target an ECM mech inside 200~m .

The problem? You don't share that target lock with team nor can you lock missiles on it.

In other words.. its a completely USELESS 'bonus'. (as far as 'against ecm something')

Check the latest patch notes. BAP now counters ECM within 150m

No it does not. Like I said, it lets you target but the missile lock and target sharing with team is still denied to you. You cannot lock an SSRM on a light ECM mech that is humping your leg.

BAP counters 1 enemy ECM inside of 150m per patch notes and you can lock on with guided weapons.
But if you are outnumbered by ECM your BAP does nothing.

I hope you're trolling, because StreakCats with BAP eat ECM lights for breakfast, and have been doing so for weeks.
