They seem to be getting more and more frequent.

Just had an X5 run up to me (full health Jager) and fire three shots with a medium laser. First shot blew up an arm, second shot cored my torso and third shot blew me up.

This game is amazing.

Iv not seen anything like that though someone earlier today claimed some guys on my team were taking 'massive hits and taking no damage', I didn't personally see it but one of them claimed to be recording it. I wouldn't have known personally I had a big freaking hole in my quickdraws CT from brawling with a Jagermech at theta. (which hilariously I won by default, cause the guy shutdown out of bounds and got blewed up, gg boundry line of doom!)

Stop making threads like this without posting a stitch of evidence. There are no prolific hackers dominating this game.

What I have noticed, and there could be many reasons for this, Is the lack of damage people are taking. After not playing for about a week, I got on and pugged a few matches. Now I normally would run fraps but hey just pugging right. Anyway ran into a hunchie that I took both arms and torsos off of him and had him crit CT. repeated, say range of 12 -14 er ppcs/ppcs at 90 meters to 180 meters range and no damage that's 120 to 140 damage to the crit red ct of this hunchie and ... nothing. So I thought maybe my ping. Checked, same as always, sub 100 ms. so maybe something else so I switched up weapons from ballastics to missiles. Noticed that certain mechs not always in the same match, seem to get to a point where they just stopped taking damage. SO sub 100 ms ping. checked for packet loss. nothing. used a range of weapons and all had the same issue. CT crit and damage seemed to stop registering. Hack? don't know. Something weird and the devs should into yes. maybe they reach a point where the game stops registering damage or some such.

I have never seen anyone who I have thought was hacking in this game.

There is no way to know if another player is using the radar hack, that's the beauty of it I suppose.

Considering that damage is entirely server controlled, the only way that would happen is if you have 0 armor on said components or if you both had zero armor in the arm and then LRM ammo within there.

Maybe they should show equipped modules on the target paperdoll if you have BAP?

Haven't seen any. Probably not likely to hear about any either, given that PGI and its team of crack moderators lock these threads as soon as they see them.

I've been playing since CB, and I believe I've only ever encountered one hacker (ac40 cat, 6 headshots in a row, one on me in a Jenner pirouetting gracefully through the air) - and even then I'm dubious.

Sometimes it SEEMS like hackers are pooping in everyone's cereal, as despite HSR spiders and jenners can still occasionally appear as maddeningly invincible demons from the ninth circle of lag hell, but even then I chalk it up to netcode...

...but as far as your AC80 MLAS claims go, the more likely explanation is that you were taking fire from any of the myriad flavours of PPC+Gauss ninja death-stars striding the battlefield whilst that X5 was plinking away at you.

Maybe you should ask to borrow Occam's razor.

I used to think so, but now I attribute it to mostly wonky game mechanics.
Being a jr coder myself the code is pretty tight.
However the yak powered servers located in outer Krackistan are not.
Therein lies most of the problems
