And of course, you can't put a ******* AC/20 in the arm. Or at least that's what I've heard.

So much for my upgraded Yen-Lo-Wang... :)
Might have brought me back, *******. Denied.

Question1: Why can't Dragon Slayer can't fit AC20 since Victor's trademark is AC20 in the arm as its main weapon. Especially fact that a Hero Victor Mech can't fit AC20 is weak :)

Question 2: Was it intended that JumpJet on Victor is 1 ton per JJ? Or was that accident?

Edit: 4 JJ on Victor would be 4 ton. 4 JJ on Highlander is 8 ton. 4 JJ on Jenner is 2 ton. 4 ton out of 80 is 5% of its weight, 8 ton out of 90 is 8.9%. 4 JJ on Jenner is 2 ton and 2 ton out of 35 is 5.7%. Basically, Victor's JJ weighs less than Jenner's on percentile basis to its weight to get a lift. Might make more sense if Victor JJ was 1.5 ton so 4 JJ is 6 ton and 6 ton out of 80 is 7.5%.

With the loadout and capabilties make Victor like a smaller version of Highlander. It's going to come down to what you want to bring for similar or same role when Drop Weight is in. Until then Highlander can perform same role as Victor.

Looks like 9K, 9B, and 9S are planned for release. According to Sarna.net 9B and 9S can mount AC20. If that's going to be the case, I think you should brace for lot of QQ for fact that Hero mech can't mount AC20 but others can. Unless PGI can point out what is better about hero variant. Perhaps hardslot locations are in better locations, has more hardpoint slots, or bigger engine it can fit whereas regular can't, etc.

Yeah, bring the AC20, you silly PGI people.
How can one slay dragons without the dragon hunter cannon?

Was going to purchase it after watching the video and reading this thread, but since it can't mount an AC/20, yea that's not happening. 6000 MC for a mech that can't compete. No thanks.

Yup, no purchase from me either, not until I can fit an AC20 on it.

Can anyone who owns it comment on the missile tubes? Can you for instance put 2 srm6's into the torso and fire all the missiles at once? or is it 2 sets of 6?

Why would they when the 9B stock variant has it? Why would they make the Hero variant the same as the stock variant?

Also, this Mech has a colossal CT hitbox, it's absolutely stupid how easy it is to kill with LRM's, about 4 alpha strikes with a boat of LRM15's will do it.

Give them a break will you? They are implimenting Community warfare, new maps, new modes, and new 'Mechs and you still aren't happy? Some following MWO has. Each new 'Mech they come out with isn't going to be more powerful than the last. Each player has their own playstyle; hence, additional 'Mechs will be meant for different playstyles. i.e. The spider is one of the later 'Mechs to come out, but it's not a super powered 'Mech that can core an Atlas in one shot.

PGI is working hard to give each player top satisfaction. Will they make every player happy all the time? No. They give each player a chance to explore their own playstyles as well as experience new styles. I, myself am a Stalker pilot at heart, but I tried an Awesome-9M; it wasn't for me. Did I start hammering PGI for making a 'Mech that I didn't do good in? No. So let PGI and MWO do their job.

I've seen it shoot 10 SRM's at once, and 2 SRM in a second burst.
So it seems to have 10 tubes max. Which means 1 SRM6 and 1 SRM4 can shoot at once.

@Drunk
Because it's a bloody VICTOR.
Also, a hero mech should have something special that usual variants don't have.
As it is, it doesn't have any positive special hardpoints, but is actually crippled.

You can say the same thing about the Trial Hunchback. All it has are 9 energy hardpoints. What no AC/20's? The stock build trial Hunchback can alpha strike and Atlas' armor down to red; if you know how to use it. So it all depends on the playstyle of that person. And if one player has a playstyle that fits the Victor, then he/she can deem that 'Mech to be the best mech they've had. While other people are complaining it doesn't fit their playstye.

Looks like you like video games. That's nice. We like BattleTech the game MechWarrior comes from ... and play the video game with its name to get as close to simulating that world as possible. This mech that you are defending is in fact a slap in the face, and they want people to pay real world cash for it. If you like video games and think that this mech is pretty or cool then buy it. Standard Victor loadout has a AC20, and a hero that can not equip a AC20 is not a Victor, it just isn't .

Dafuq? how does the hunchback statement make sense, the 4P with 9 medium laser is an ******* to put up with in a match if you don't take its hunch out fast, its the only mech with 9 energy hardpoints, and the mech with the 2nd highest amount of hardpoints in the game... were pissed that 1. the ******* thing has the loudout of a dragon, which speeks for itself, and 2. hes complaining about the assault, who actualy has a ballistic unlike the 4p, cant mount a 20 unlike a certain Highlander variant...

Well, I'm not going to say anymore about it. If it doesn't appeal to certain people, it's their right. If it appeals to other people, it's their right also. I apologize if I offended anyone in my outburst. Lotharian, thank you understanding and not complaining that it's a bad 'Mech just because it can't carry an AC/20.

Well, you see, PGI is too busy pretending that their game -- which they apparently only develop content for -- is still a beta. Beta is not a content development period. They're also too busy rolling in the money that insane {Noble MechWarriors} are showering them with. You know, adult children who never really grew up, but still somehow managed to plod through college and now command an adult's wage?

It's sad what the world has come to.
