*EDIT*
Tested with spider. Cockpit shake gone - reticle shake still there.
As a light pilot my verdict is:
PERFECT
Not sure how this effects larger mechs and pop tarting - others will have to give feedback on this.
Well then, I guess she's going out tonight for some prey.

It ain't a Roll if you like the song!
I still think it would be better if the entire hud shaked with the crosshairs or if they just made the crosshairs shake more than it is now
"time to abuse the **** out of this and make people angry. yess"

true. pinpoint alphas are the main problem. jump sniping exacerbates it.

All the people on this forum whining about JJ shake for the past few weeks, apparently. Not sure how these folks could play a 130+ kph light mech jumping all over the place for the past 9 months, and not experience motion sickness, but a little reticule shake on their favourite poptart mechs and they're supposedly puking all over the place.
A certain group of folks on here want their poptarts viable, and they'll say anything to get em back.

Exhibit A would be the poster who said "time to abuse the **** out of this and make people angry. yess". Yeah...those are the type of people who add such value to this community and the game. <eyeroll>

You either abuse or get abused.

People of integrity and character don't think that way. Even in a game.
And PGI shouldn't create meta's that enable it. I haven't played the patch yet so I will reserve judgement.

BUT I did it with the shake as well (just a different Mech).
Shake of the crosshair is still the same so there should be no "LOL POPTART NOOB" with this.
Cheers

Whopee!!! My spiders are back in action!!!
I still need to rest a bit after a few games. And I'm still not the maniacal flying spider pilot I used to be. But, it's definitely much better than before.
