Great sound pack... Totally loved it. The bass, is just great (given that you have good speakers as lower end speakers tend to remove all the lower db range sound). AC20 can be a little louder though.

I tried. 6 AC2 is a sound barier for anithing else. Sounds like you sitting in cabrio near shilka. Overal maybe sounds in not to bad, but it IS a qite louder than needed and it IS too much reverb on it.

*в общем опять один раз отмерь - семь раз отрежь. Упс.. переборщили.*
* Score once before you cut twice. Oops.. to much! Well - lets say this is a feature.

I agree with the voume problem. im running the game at the lowest sound volume and can still have problems hearing teamspeak people on default volume.

the ac/2 is way too loud.

the ppc sound is great fun, but still seems off and i miss the old ppc sound somewhat.

the new ac20 sounds great so far.

i reocmmend PGI sell us sound packs :D

If the weapon sound is too loud, why don't you just turn the weapon volume down in your settings menu..

I admit I don't like the new PPC sound, but that is not a technical issue. R.I.P. my favourite MWO game sound.

However, there is obvious clipping when multiple weapons fire at the same time. That problem is not subjective at all -- it is the sign of bad sound design. It is weird that no dynamic range compression was implemented to prevent this issue from ever occuring.

Because there is no seperate weapon effect volume slider in options, if there was I would have turned it way down long ago. The only volume control we have is for all effects, so suddenly you have to choose if you want all effects to be heard and have your ears bleed when someone fire weapons, or only hear weapons at a normal volume. It's just bad sound engineering.

When munitions hit my mech, it sounds like I'm in an oversized coffee can. There wasn't anything wrong with the old sounds, why the change?

new sounds are awesome :D I love the AC sounds now, just sad they didn't seem to change the UAC5.
PPCs sound sweet, even tho I don't use them ever, I just like to hang around people that fire them now. haha
Great work on the sounds, nice ninja surprise. Please give my beloved UAC5 something epic to match? :(

The new sounds, especially LRMs (either being fired or landing near/on me) are deafening. Even with effects volume turned down, these sounds have a static background at the edge of human hearing registry that cause disruption to the normal sound wavelengths and sharp auditory pain.

The sounds themselves are great, but they need a thorough cleaning-up.

And maybe tweak them so that they don't add to themselves...as in, two firing at the same time isn't double the volume. One PPC is great, two is loud as hell. There's no slider that can fix that, unless I adjust it for two, then normal sounds are whisper quiet.

Though I think that's probably an issue with how sounds work in every game, so it's probably not fixable ever.

Having a seperate slider for weapon sounds would be nice, though. But lasers are quieter, comparatively. Eh. I'll adapt, it's just jarring till I do. AC/2s could use some very minor tweaking so that they don't sound like a coffee can in a tumble dryer, though.

Personally, I'd prefer if all ACs had a similar sound to the AC/10, but adjusted in pitch and speed/intensity based on the size.
