...They look awesome!

Who hopes that the vents in the Shadow Hawk's side torso will spew out steam in the direction they are facing?

Also, post feedback about the Shadow Hawk's art!

Meow~! :3

3 MGs, 3 Streaks, 1 ERPPC.

The ShadowHawk looks wicked and is going to be a blast.

3 A/C2s, 3 Streaks (hopefully) and 1 MLaser.

It's a bit silly, but I like my Hunch 4G (F) with 3 A/C2s. I would rather have 3 Energy in the Shadow Hawk, but the 3 SSRM2s might suprise me. with the 5 extra tons, I am thinking the 3 Streaks should fit.

I am betting there will be four variants. 2H, 2D, 2K, and 5M.

Shameless self bump.

Also, try commenting on how the Shadow Hawk looks and what you hope it will be like in game.

Jeeze, ok Mr. Pushy

The Shadow Hawk looks cool (even with the TV set for a head).

Indeed, even the CR-T Recruit from Hawken looked awesome with it's CRT head.

Sorry if I sounded rude in that post you quoted.

Nah, said it more jokingly about the Mr. Pushy part.

Yea, that is why I could never get into the mech designs of Hawkin. I know they were going for the "Pieced-together" look, but the robots looks so awkward.

That Hawken mech looks like a Television come to life to murder you in your sleep. It doesn't belong in a mech game, it belongs in a nightmare <_<

2D, 2D2 & 2K aren't very good options. The 2Hb "Royal" variant would be a much better option.

I think the Shadow Hawk's chest looks incredible and I can't quite figure out why. It's kinda got that Bruce Tim (batman animator) beefy chest/pec lines, but also looks a lot like Iron Man. I'm definitely painting this thing red and gold.

Except that it is a "Royal" variant and therefor not in production currently.

Royal = Exclusive to the Star League Royal Divisions. All SLDF units of the "b" variant were out of production well before the end of First Succession War. Almost all existing ones at the end of the Amaris Civil War left with the Exodus anyways, were destroyed in the Succession Wars, or fell into the hands of ComStar. A rare few ended up as nonfunctional museum pieces.

I'd just like to point out that Smurfy is bugged at the moment with regard to Shadowhawk armor. Max leg armor is currently 20, and it should be 52. So unless everyone's planning on getting their legs blasted off with one PPC alpha, you may want to budget 2 more tons' worth of leg armor into your builds. :)

Alternately, you can use this mech lab.

That's a very annoying point. Still the 2Ds and the 2K just aren't really good options.

For those moments when you feel angry about having no shoes and then you meet the beggar on the street who has no feet and a CRT for a face.

My only concern for the art is that it looks like there are no side windows. That lone square front window might be a little claustrophobic.

Finally came up with a build: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...08593ee94a1b3f5 I think this will get some work done.

Also, the SHD looks pretty cool!

Whyyyy so many heatsinks dude? You're at 91% heat efficiency. Before unlocks! Whyyyyyyyy?

Other than that it looks OK, if light on the Gauss ammo. 20 shots won't last you long. Drop thea extra heat sinks for ammo IMHO.

Yeah, you might be right. Alternately, I could drop them for another SSRM, and maxing out the leg armor. Or u/g the mlas to mplas, and add one ton of ammo. OPTIONS!
