What did you find? I found another band-aid. Instead if fixing PPCs they now decided to assault my eardrums every time I use them (which is never of course). THX PGI.

JJ shake removed (only reticule shake still there)

Weapon sound changes are the biggest. What I think was an AC/2 battery sounded like a laser beam weapon from other games. Twang twang twang twang.

Hmmm... I was just playing my Yen-Lo-Wang... Liked the new AC20 sound.

Amused that PPC boaters may all go deaf.

Holy crap, the new ballistic sounds have some serious umph behind them. It actually sounds like you're firing 150mm+ guns.

The cockpit shake is gone, the reticle shake is still there and your shots are still off center as you are actively jump jetting.

I have only used a Jenner thus far though, not sure on heavier chassis.

Edit: Just played a quick round in my QKD and it also seems to have very minimal cockpit shake.

Although that may be nice to hear, at what point did we all need a sound effect buff? I swear priorities are coming out like pick one out of a hat.

Ya, they aren't right yet though. The AC20 in my arm isn't nearly as loud as the guy firing AC5s 50m away.

Somebody needs to make an adjustment pass on the various sfx volumes.

They can leave the PPC ear bleeding loud though... :)

The sound design engineers have nothing to do with weapon balance, map design, mech design, etc outside of how their sounds tie in with each of those items. It's one thing to be upset about the progress of the game, but try and put a little perspective on your feedback as well.

I expect him to do proper sound balancing. The PPC sounds are OP and the AC/2 sounds need to be buffed. :)

I'm pretty sure they changed my RVN-4X cockpit. It looks different.
